Round Three…Here’s how we see it… @minguabeefjerky, @PrepSpin, @KHSAAFootball @KyHighFootball

The Beechwood Tigers

We were 83% in the first round and a smidgen over 80% in round 2. What does this mean? Well, it means we know something about something; after all, each round is supposed to pit teams who are more equally matched than the teams matched up earlier. We would probably take 80% in this round and run with it to the bank.

Regardless, we are giving it a go. The below is how we see the games finishing tomorrow night.

Class 1A: We like…

Holy Cross (Louisville) over Newport Central;

Crittenden to upset KCD;

Paintsville should hold serve over Hazzard;

Williamburg over Nicholas County.

Class 2A: We like…

Beechwood over Breathitt;

LCA over Metcalfe;

Owensboro Catholic over Murray;

Walton-Verona in and upset over West Carter.

Class 3A: We like…

Ashland Blazer over Fleming County;

Belfry big over Bell County;

E-Town all over Union County;

CAL with the mild upset over Glasgow.

Class 4A: We like…

Boyle County over Rowan County;

Franklin County routs Allen County-Scottsville;

John Hardin over Hoptown;

Johnson Central over Corbin, but could go the other way almost as easily.

Class 5A: We like…

Bowling Green all over North Bullitt;

Covington Catholic over Madison Southern;

Owensboro (Senior) over Fairdale;

Frederick Douglass over Southwestern substantially.

Class 6A: We like…

Bryan Station over Paul Laurence Dunbar;

Male routing McCracken County;

Saint Xavier over North Hardin;

Trinity all over Dixie Heights.

There it is folks, that is the honest impression of the staff at Kentucky Prep Gridiron about how the games tonight fall. Picking games this deep in the playoffs is never easy.
