We are 22-3 over the last two weeks and 30-3 for the season. Here are fourteen games for Friday night and what we think the outcome will be. Some of these games are “toss-ups” and some will be blow-outs. There are a few in here which will be quite closer than odds-makers believe and we have seen this phenomenon all year. This week’s “Revolutionary Player of the Week” is a top-flight, 2022 DE playing for Bowling Green (Senior) High School. His name is Bridger Knee and, if his name sounds familiar it should, we have featured him several times. He will have a very big year in Class 5A, District 2, if he builds on what he did over his sophomore season. This feature is brought to you weekly by the folks over at Independence Bank. Here is a young man who really showed of what he was made in 2019 after having been sparingly used the year prior. Javeius Bunton is poised to have a break-out, senior season for one of Kentucky’s most storied programs. HB.Read more
Well, week “zero” is in the books and old Coach Lyon was 63-50 this weekend. That wouldn’t be too bad if we were a major league baseball team but we aren’t accustomed to a win percentage south of 60% around KPGFootball. I literally can feel Fletcher Long out there smirking (He won with much more frequency last season). Anyway, it would help Coach’s win percentage considerably if defending State Champions could manage to beat 2-win teams from 2018 at home,

In January of 2019, we predicted Bridger Knee would be a day one, snap one defensive, down-lineman starter for the Purples in 2019. On the brink of kickoff, we thought we would remind everyone what we said in January. That’s how confident we are in our being right (and first). Enjoy
We have wandered through the abyss that is the KHSAA “Dead Period” and into the first day of real preparation[…]
If they belong to #Brotherhood, they can play the sport of football. Myriad are the examples of this. Yesterday, KWC extended offers which included offers to these three members of #Brotherhood. None of these three have seen their last offer. We got to watch all three perform at KWC’s prospect camp and we came away as impressed as Coach Yeast. Enjoy the article.Read more
One may wonder what make KPGFootball so emboldened that we make such audaciously bold predictions, particularly about young players. After[…]
