What do you do when you are joining a roster your big brother just left as the school’s all-time, career tackler. Ethan Gough would say just take his number and show everyone you can play a little football too. That is exactly what Ethan “Big E” Gough is doing. Better watch out Red Devil opponents, there’s more to come from a No. 26 named Gough on that Senior High team going forward. KPGFootball is glad to be well position to enjoy the ride! Enjoy the feature. HB.

As we say farewell to another group of ballers we have covered since they played in middle school, we get to meet and update our database with an entire new class of up-and-coming stars who will play their freshman seasons this coming Fall. Many of these guys will start on Friday Night sometime during their initial campaigns. Some of these guys will start night one, snap one and we aren’t talking about on specials either. Today, we are highlighting a kid we call around the magazine a “No-doubter.” Why? Well, you may have to just read this article and find out. HB.

Several top-flight ’21s are coming off the board quickly, unwilling to “wait and see” if there is room for them at the inn as things go along, some of these guys are using more than their athletic prowess to find the “other ways there are to skin cats.” Enjoy this article as we have linked highlights for all three players featured in this article. This feature is brought to you weekly by the folks over at Independence Bank. Go on by and see our friends and thank them, not just for this series, but for the outstanding services and products which have started a revolution in the banking industry.

This week’s “Revolutionary Player of the Week” is Andrew Lanz (2023), one of Kentucky’s top place-kickers in the high school game. We pride ourselves on performance and, to render an exceptional performance, no one knows better than Independence Bank that competitors have to fuss over both the important things, obvious to everybody, and the less obvious things most casual fans overlook. That is how competitors become champions. Saturday, two teams with strong Independence Bank branches (Bowling Green and Owensboro) will battle for the 5A crown. Go on by one of those branches in either town and see our friends at your local Independence Bank. Thank them, not just for this series, but for the outstanding service and products which have started a revolution in the banking industry. Enjoy the article. HB.
