Well, here we are heading into the season having to guess “who will do what” at the different classifications within the KHSAA football ranks. Here is our best guess at the order of finish at 5A. Feel free to disagree. FL.
Centre escaped Hanover, Indiana with a win. That was about as positive as we can be about a performance which gives us plenty of mistakes to study and correct. Coaches say teams experience the most growth between the first and second games, particularly in college football. Colonel fans must “pray” that rings true or we may not be as lucky outcome wise as we were with the Panthers in Indiana. Enjoy the scout. HB.
Centre heads up north to scrimmage Mount Saint Joseph. Heck, we thought we would get in a little practice ourselves. Enjoy the scouting report put together by the magazine’s Editorial Staff. HB.
Centre College has been killing it on the recruiting trail. The small college in Danville, Kentucky is in the midst of an unparalleled facilities upgrade and the talent, particularly in-Kentucky, is flocking to the small town known for winning football titles at various levels of play. Austin Gough has now decided to take his considerable talents down the road a bit and report for duty in the Colonels’ regiment. Read this feature about Centre College’s newest Colonel. HB.
We love to visit our many friends and locations in the Independence Bank family. Today we visit our branch in Owensboro, Kentucky known far and wide as the “West Parrish Avenue branch.” Ethan Gough is among the Red Devils brightest rising stars on defense and may be equally effective running the football at his offensive position of RB. We are confident Ethan Gough, like his brother Austin before him, will draw plenty of ink before his high school journey is through. Enjoy this feature on one of Kentucky’s very finest at the MLB/RB positions. Get on by and visit one of our fine branches today and discover what makes Independence Bank’s people, products, and services revolutionary in the financial services industry. HB.
What do you do when you are joining a roster your big brother just left as the school’s all-time, career tackler. Ethan Gough would say just take his number and show everyone you can play a little football too. That is exactly what Ethan “Big E” Gough is doing. Better watch out Red Devil opponents, there’s more to come from a No. 26 named Gough on that Senior High team going forward. KPGFootball is glad to be well position to enjoy the ride! Enjoy the feature. HB.
As we say farewell to another group of ballers we have covered since they played in middle school, we get to meet and update our database with an entire new class of up-and-coming stars who will play their freshman seasons this coming Fall. Many of these guys will start on Friday Night sometime during their initial campaigns. Some of these guys will start night one, snap one and we aren’t talking about on specials either. Today, we are highlighting a kid we call around the magazine a “No-doubter.” Why? Well, you may have to just read this article and find out. HB.
This is a huge get for Wildcat fans as this kid is, by consensus, one of Kentucky’s premier players both in the class of ’21 and at his position (linebacker) commonwealth-wide.
It is getting Kentucky Future Stars tryout time for this summer’s Kentucky-Tennessee Future Stars Classic. No other all-star event more accurately represents the hierarchy in each of the respective graduating classes and no other event provides the future networking as Future Stars. HB.
Several top-flight ’21s are coming off the board quickly, unwilling to “wait and see” if there is room for them at the inn as things go along, some of these guys are using more than their athletic prowess to find the “other ways there are to skin cats.” Enjoy this article as we have linked highlights for all three players featured in this article.
