As we say farewell to another group of ballers we have covered since they played in middle school, we get to meet and update our database with an entire new class of up-and-coming stars who will play their freshman seasons this coming Fall. Many of these guys will start on Friday Night sometime during their initial campaigns. Some of these guys will start night one, snap one and we aren’t talking about on specials either. Today, we are highlighting a kid we call around the magazine a “No-doubter.” Why? Well, you may have to just read this article and find out. HB.
Looking back a few years, here was our very first Freshman All-State Football team. It really is scary how very accurate we were. Four years later, many of these guys are still the “big dogs” around the KHSAA at their respective positions. To make this team, you had to produce on Friday nights. We didn’t evaluate freshman or JV highlights then. Still don’t now. HB.
At 6-0, 230-pounds, this cat makes plays all over the field. Austin Gough (Owensboro Senior) and he are the consummate 2nd-level players in Kentucky. Both of them are FBS-level performers and even FBS frames at where they project. So, why is Thompson being slept on, or Gough for that matter? Well, we don’t know but it won’t happen for ever. Sooner or later, the cream will rise to the top. Enjoy the article! HB.
He is Kentucky’s premier player at MLB especially if Owensboro’s Austin Gough is deployed at OLB like many schools project him to play. His also a former Kentucky Future Star and FBU standout who has made one AA-team and 3 All-State teams in his illustrious career. Enjoy the article about Louisville Ballard’s Justice Thompson. HB.
These four guys lead the pack in Kentucky’s 2021 graduating class in regard to playing experience and success on Friday nights. They may be the saltiest veterans in the KHSAA entering the 2020 season. Enjoy the article…HB.
Someone contacted old Coach Lyon and asked when we were going to put out our preseason top-10 football polls for each classification. Well, the day we were called seemed like as good a day as any to continue that tradition. Since KPGFootball started with the top classification when picking district winners, this time we started with Class 1A, then 2A, then 3A, then 4A, and yesterday we projected Class 5A. Today we give you our projections for the largest Kentucky classification, Kentucky Class 6A. We have now completed this series and hope this has peaked your interest in something we love around here with all our hearts…Kentucky High School football. Have a great season, everyone of you. We can’t wait to both watch and report on it.
You bring the liberty and we will provide the Justice. Justice Thompson from Louisville is about whom we are ranting. This is one of the most feared faces patrolling any second level of any defense among any of the 6 classifications of football playing in the commonwealth of Kentucky. What’s all the fuss? You’ll have to read this article to discover the answer to that.
Like the offensive line may be the deepest position on our Class of 2022, Kentucky All-State Football team, the linebackers are a really tough position to crack for the Class of 2021s. This class is so deep at the position of linebacker, we had to take a linebacker with nearly […]

Well, the answer is elementary my dear Watsons, they are ranking kids based purely from off of reputation and how they looked running around […]
