We have been featuring versatility this offseason and we have one for you hear. This guy plays LB,G in football as a two-way guy, wrestles, and is a middle infielder, third-baseman, outfielder, right-handed pitcher on the varsity baseball team. He also is a member of the 1,000-pound club in the weight room and all of this while having just completed his sophomore season on Kentucky’s deepest roster. Breaking News Story: Christian County High Makes Statement Hire in Ethan Atchley

Atchley brings a proven track record of developing college ready talent, winning and competing for championships, and building programs, which have been struggling, to commonwealth-wide prominence. We are approaching round four (4) in the KHSAA playoffs. All of these teams left standing are very good. There are exactly no bad apples left in the barrel. It will be the “little things” which differentiate between winning and losing at this point. “Mighty Mayfield” has themselves the home field and a kicker in Lincoln Suiter who has before come through for the Cardinals in a “big game,” with the game on the line. If called upon, Friday night, will he come through once more? We shall see, but the Cardinals are confident. Enjoy the feature. HB.

There are numerous stars ladening the LCA football roster and some “up and comers” of whom you may not even know presently destined to be stars. Still the straw which appears to stir the drink of the ’22 version of the Eagles football team appears to be this Will Nichols kid.
