’25 two-way star seems ‘good fit’ at Liberty

This guy has been on the radar since middle school. We believe he has found the right fit along the offensive front, though his ability to play TE speaks to his athleticism. This guy camped at Liberty and loved the Flames. Is he a Liberty-lean?

Migua Beef Jerky uses Enviro-Pac CHU-2000 equipment to cook its meat to USDA required levels for both moist or dry operation. Mingua Beef Jerky wants you to become one of its many satisfied customers by sampling its quality hand sliced, all natural beef jerky. We know you’ll love it and come back for more, again and again.

Ronnie Mingua began experimenting with making beef jerky back in the 1990s. He shared his efforts with neighbors and friends, soon realizing he had come up with something different and superior to all other beef jerkies on the market. From these humble beginnings, Mingua Beef Jerky got its start.

Today, the Mingua Beef Jerky Company still prides itself on using its old-fashioned, all-natural recipes which offer outstanding products to customers across the nation. The recipes are a family tradition, passed down from generation to generation.

Our recipes and our quality ingredients, hand-cut from solid pieces of beef, are never chopped or formed like other brands, making our products superior and one of a kind. That would make our products similar to this week’s Protein-packed PerformerHayes Preston, OL/TE/DL from Lexington, Kentucky’s Christian Academy (LCA) wouldn’t it?

…[S]omething different and superior to all other beef jerkies…

KPGFootball on the quality of Mingua’s product

Hayes Preston has been on KPGFootball’s radar for years. He was one of our top MS players coming out of 8th-grade. He is still among our top prospects, Kentucky-wide, in the ’25 class.

Hayes is 6’3,” weighs a well-put-together 245-pounds, with a 4.64-shuttle, a 108″ long-jump, a 28′ vertical and a 40-time we would estimate in the 4.8-5.0-second neighborhood.

Hayes played in 14-games along the offensive front for LCA while getting spot-defensive duty during which he did quite well. Preston registered 16-tackles, 1.5-TFL’s and 1.5 QB-sacks.

Watkins went on to claim, “[Preston] is a can’t miss next level prospect…[with] great hip and knee mobility [who] plays with a high motor all the time.” Perhaps even more important, “[Hayes]…makes everyone around him better in all walks of life.”

Watkins went on to say, “Preston is among the better linemen we have seen come through here.” That is a mouthful considering some of the stud-lineman who have matriculated through LCA.

One of the most athletic OL I have coached…[Preston] is a can’t miss next-level prospect

Oakley Watkins, LCA OC and Associate HFC

Hayes has camped at Liberty University and came away really impressed. The above video is taken from LIberty’s recent camp and you can see he got considerable work inside, along the defensive front.

The unaffiliated (conference-wise) FBS school is coming off an 8-5 record and a bowl appearance. The “Flames” regularly play stalwarts the likes of Virginia Tech, Syracuse, SMU, and Baylor.

When we asked Preston about Liberty, he told KPGFootball, “It’s my dream school.”

Preston and his Eagle teammates have much to which to look forward. LCA boasts the commonwealth’s top-rated QB in Cutter Bolley and Hayes has to be considered a top-10 or so prospect in his class with the FBS and Division 1 attention he regularly draws.

Liberty is my dream school

Hayes Preston, ’25 OL/DL/TE, Lexington Christian Academy

We have awarded this to Preston as we can’t fathom how any one student athlete could have taken the skills the Good Lord gave him and done anymore with it to help his team. On this basis, Mingua Beef Jerky and we decided this talented and accomplished ’25 OL/DL/TE could use a bolt of protein and a sweet T-shirt. The company volunteered to send that to him, straight away.

Join us next week as we return to honor another weekly prize winner. Until then, pop some Mingua Beef Jerky in your mouth and savor the quality and flavor which sets it apart from all the competition. Remember, our product is superior and one of a kind; just like LCA’s, Hayes Preston.
