@dbutler105 (Dustin Butler) from Hart County is the @minguabeefjerky “Protein-packed Performer” of the Week. @CurtisB05159591 @1776Bank @HartCountyFball @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball

Here’s a guy who is a star in the ’21 class but who is young enough to stay back and reclassify as a ’22 player. There is at least one college football program we have consulted who would like to see him reclassify and would like to take a run at him should he decide to do so. This guy has D-1 skills. He has an ample frame. He has a huge brain. There are lots of possibilities for Butler on the next level. Enjoy this look at this week’s “Protein-packed Performer,” Hart County’s Dustin Butler. HB.

While recognizing the bigs however, how about this big boy right here? He’s Andrew Hardwick and may be among the best linemen in Kentucky’s class of ’23. We talk a lot about the eye-test. Well, we have heard it before said there are only two types of high school football players; those who play the game and those who just think it is cool to get to wear “football stuff.” This Nate Caldwell is a football player. He’s also our Mingua Beef Jerky Company “Protein-packed Performer of the Week.” Congratulations to Nathan Caldwell and all the folks at KCD and join us next week to coronate another worthy player. @EdgrenSweat from @RecruitMCentral is the @minguabeefjerky Protein-packed Performer of the Week. @PrepSpin @1776Bank @KyHighFootball

We picked this guy in 2019 as a Sophomore All-State defender. He followed up his sophomore season with another solid junior year in spite of playing fewer games because of the pandemic. This is an “out of frame” guy we would take a chance on were we working in the recruiting office at one of Kentucky’s 17-college football programs. This kid can play. Enjoy the feature and congratulations to Sweat on being the Protein-packed Performer of the Week. HB.

@ConnerYazell from @BourbonFootball another “Break-out player” from the ’22-class. @Minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @1776Bank

Connor Yazell is slightly built particularly for a 6-5 offensive lineman. He’s working hard on that this offseason and is making considerable strides. He’s over 230-now, up from 205 from last season, and it is going on the right way. We expect this guy to get a lot of attention this coming Fall. HB.

Mingua Beef Jerky tagged us a video of Brayden Reynolds bench pressing 420-pounds. Man, is that powerful for a kid who weighs 226, or for any kid. We were so impressed we decided to “research” him and discover what kind of football player he is. We learned he is really something. Enjoy this look at this week’s “Protein-packed Performer” and enjoy the highlights and the video of his incredible bench and see why he was a No-doubter for this award.
