’26 dual threat QB is as dangerous on the diamond as the gridiron

Kace Eastridge is the very definition of versatile. This ’26 dual threat QB whose defensive position is LB is also one of the very best baseball players in the Bluegrass. Matter of fact, he was voted 1st Team All-State by the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association for his work this past spring. He’s a pretty darn good QB too, completing close to 57% of his throws and throwing for 19-TDs and rushing for another 14. The most obvious sign of his impact is his team’s 11-2 mark from a year ago and narrow loss in the Regional Championship to the eventual state champion (Pikeville).

Ronnie Mingua began experimenting with making beef jerky back in the 1990s. He shared his efforts with neighbors and friends, soon realizing he had come up with something different and superior to all other beef jerkies on the market. From these humble beginnings, Mingua Beef Jerky got its start.

Today, the Mingua Beef Jerky Company still prides itself on using its old-fashioned, all-natural recipes which offer outstanding products to customers across the nation. The recipes are a family tradition, passed down from generation to generation.

Our recipes and our quality ingredients, hand-cut from solid pieces of beef, are never chopped or formed like other brands, making our products superior and one of a kind. That would make our products similar to this week’s Protein-packed Performer, Kace Eastridge, ’26 QB from Campbellsville High School in Cambellsville, Kentucky.

…[S]omething different and superior to all other beef jerkies…

KPGFootball on the quality of Mingua Beef Jerky products

Kace Eastridge is a ’26 dual threat QB performing at an incredibly high level of performance entering his junior year. Eastridge steered the ship to an 11-2 overall mark, in ’23, narrowly dropping the Regional Championship game to Pikeville, 28-21, a year ago.

Here is the thing; football may not even be his best sport.

Eastridge is considered among the best baseball prospect in Kentucky. He is an outfielder/right handed pitcher who batted .343, slugged .814, had six (6) doubles, three (3) triples, 12-dingers and drove in 40-runs. On the mound he threw 69.1 innings with a 9-2 mark, 2.12 ERA, and 82 K’s.

Eastridge completed 57% of his passes and had a nearly 2:1 TD to INT ratio to go along with prodigious rushing numbers

KHSAA statistical website

Eastridge wasn’t a bad football player either. He completed 57% of his passing attempts (101/178), threw for 1,885-yards, threw 19-TDs, carried the ball 127-times for 798-yards from scrimmage with 14-rushing TDs.

Eastridge was 2nd on the team in scoring, made a tackle or two on defense, and led the team to an 11-2 overall mark. That is some production in both sports. We call that trait, versatility.

Eastridge is 6’1,” 190-pounds with an exceedingly high football IQ. With a 4.0 GPA, his non-football IQ appears right high as well.

Join us next week as we return to honor another weekly prize winner. Until then, pop some Mingua Beef Jerky in your mouth and savor the quality and flavor which sets it apart from the competition. Remember, our product is superior and one of a kind; just like Campbellsville High’s, Kace Eastridge.
