Trigg Whisenant will be looking for eight when they pull that gate…@Trigg5whisenant, @MasonS3324, @LCCougarSports, @bigassfans, @eCampusdotcom, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball

May 14, 2026 Fletcher Long 2

Trigg Whisenant is one of Kentucky’s very best two way, multi-phase threats entering 9th grade in the Fall of 2026. Whisenant has a 4.0-GPA, plays football, basketball, baseball, and is a sprinter on the track & field team. Whisenant has made all the customary MS all-star teams and was the KYMSFA’s Region 4, POY. Will Whisenant hit the lineup for the Letcher County Central as a freshman on Friday Nights, night one, snap one? Hard to say. Letcher is a 4A team coming off a six (6) win season which is graduating its top two rushers from a year ago in Garrett Howard and Brett Sturgill. He will have to beat out Gunner Holbrook but all signs point to early PT for this up and coming ’30 prospect. Enjoy the feature.

Mason Stephens from Letcher County Central tearing up the Appalachia Mountains… @MasonS3324, @ncsa, @LCCougarSports, @bigassfans, eCampusdotcom, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball

April 11, 2026 Fletcher Long 0

We have been featuring versatility going on a few years now. It is also time to step away from the seniors graduating this semester and focus on the younger talent coming down the pipeline. Today, we focus on one of the mountain’s better ‘27s in Letcher County’s Mason Stephens. Stephens is a WR/defensive back third guy who figures to continue to play, more and more this coming season, split out wide on offense. Enjoy this feature.

Brayden Tupper from Calloway County is the Bank of Cadiz & Trust Co.’s Feature of the Week @TupperBray43875, @KYHighFootball, @MurrayLedger, @CClakerfootball, @teeroyhowell, @khsaafootball, @bigassfans, @LasatersCoffee, @eCampusdotcom

Brayden Tupper, like Brayden Winchester, is an all-state performer along the Lakers’s defensive front. Both players are part of the upgrade and development of talent undertaken by Coach Coby Lewis who is in his second year of an incredibly impressive rebuild. Brayden Tupper is a 5’11,” 230-pound dynamo who is super strong, powerful, explosive, and “twitchy.” Tupper figures to add some offense to what he is already doing on defense. Tupper both was and still is a superlatively good athlete who excels at FB in multiple phases of the attack. Enjoy this feature on this wonderfully gifted and talented young football star from your friends and neighbors at the Bank of Cadiz.

March 16, 2026 Fletcher Long 0

Jack Long was medically retired from the active roster in 2025. That doesn’t diminish from a young man who was a heck of a football player over the course of his varsity high school career. Whatever Long’s roll may be going forward, Long will find someway to contribute and his contribution will be meaningful and impactful. That is why he is our Bank of Cadiz, Feature of the Week! Enjoy this look at an extraordinary young man, who accomplished extraordinary type things, both on and off the football field brought to you by our friends and neighbors at the Bank of Cadiz & Trust Company.

Phillip Baker, Jr., QB from Central High (Lou.) is the Big Ass Fans Kentucky Comfort Creator of the Week @CHSJacketFB, @JrPhillip19269, @BOTMWCombine, @1_McKay_2, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @bigassfans, @eCampusdotcom

February 6, 2026 Fletcher Long 0

Central High has quite the football tradition. From William Keane to Ty Scroggins to Marvin Dantzler, the Yellow Jackets are seemingly always in the title hunt in 3A, KHSAA football. The Jackets had a down year in ’25 and Dantzler decided to move along (volitionally) and now Coach McKay gets his turn in the batter’s box and at the helm of one of Kentucky’s more athletic rosters. Having a QB returning who is steady, athletic, and super smart (like Phillip Baker, Jr.) should prove a huge boon. Baker is a guy who figures to play either in the slot, as a return specialist, or even as a DB at the collegiate level. For now, this Big Ass Fans Kentucky Comfort Creator has to lead his mates back to the program’s customary position challenging for the 3A, Kentucky-wide, crown. Enjoy the feature.

We are very pleased to welcome Lasaters Coffee & Tea to our growing family of advertisers. The Kelley family has a very long history in the local football industry and several of the Kelleys have had their numbers retired owing to their familial history of playing excellence. Football has been very good to their family and they look for ways to give back to this very special community. Lasaters is a place one goes to get caffeinated and motivated and couldn’t we all use a bit more of that invigoration in our daily routines. Get by one (1) of our four (4) Christian County, Kentucky locations and enjoy the roasted flavor of a hot cup of warmth and love.
