Hayes Preston had a tremendous freshman campaign. What we believe he will do as a sophomore will astound all but the most astute of high school fans. Preston is at the very top of the class among ’25s. We could see him playing a multitude of posts depending on how his frame finished. Enjoy the feature. HB.
We have covered Frankie Knight since he was a middle schooler setting the curve in the 40 at the Future Stars combine. He is still fast as his work on the track as a sprinter would suggest. We have made it no secret we enjoy publicizing the players who rarely get any publicity, the offensive linemen across Kentucky. Well, if I were putting together a line of scrimmage from all of the linemen across the commonwealth of Kentucky to play a football game, the Big Nashty would be prominently discussed as a starter on this line. Congratulations to him on winning this week’s award and join us next week as we award this to another outstanding player from across Kentucky. HB.
This kid has garnered an early offer from the most prestigious liberal arts college in the commonwealth which also has a fantastic football program. There isn’t a hotter college recruiting Kentucky and surrounding states right now than the Colonels from Centre College. Vaught is just another reminder of this fact. This kid is a top-tier, high-school performer and one of the elite players in Lexington, Kentucky. This article should explain it well enough.
With all of the talent already there, guys like Tyler Morris, Xavier Brown, Anthony Johns, and Mason Moore, plus the guys reclassifying like Drew Nieves and Mattie Lebryk, it is hard to imagine the Eagles having any need in the lineup. However, they are attracting it anyway. RB Jeremiah Riffle from WV has moved in and will compete for a spot in the offensive backfield behind some of the best OL talent the Kentucky high school game has at its disposal. Man oh man, are they going to be a difficult obstacle in ’21. Enjoy the feature. HB.

We have picked you a “dirty dozen” of football games for this coming weekend. We were 10-3 this past weekend on our picks running our season recored to 40-6. Yeah, that’s right, we’re pretty awesome at this…HB.
Well with the performances we are regularly seeing around Kentucky these days, it was bound to happen. We have a week we had to give out two awards. We got special permission to do it this one time so don’t be thinking this will become a “regular thing.” Matt Anderson is a top-flight sophomore RB whose performance Friday night was unbelievable. Anthony Johns is a hulking OL who also plays defense for a team which took down the defending state champion and top ranked team, Somerset, on this past Friday night. The game was in Somerset. This may be the top matchup in Kentucky the opening weekend of high school football. If we could get the ESPN family of networks to pick it up it would make quite a showcase for the quality of the Kentucky high school game. Enjoy this look at this tremendous early season test for both teams.
