The Colonels continue to amass a coaching staff which is the marvel of many around the western part of Kentucky. Coach Greenwell will be using technology to improve individual, team, and staff performance. He’s been doing it at Trinity High and they seem to be doing alright. Enjoy the feature. The Johnson kid (Zane) has defied all conventional wisdom generally espoused about playing as a freshman at Louisville’s Trinity High. Not only is he playing, but his play has resulted in Trinity winning. Before you call and tell me your son should be the Freshman All-State QB there are some performances out there you might want to see prior to your getting too far out on that limb. Enjoy the feature. Trinity has before complained we don’t cover them sufficiently. We would beg to differ as we have feature quite a few of its primetime players through the years but we probably don’t write about Kentucky’s most talented roster as much as we could. Of course, we can’t just perpetually feature one team, unless their hiring. Anyway, this kid here will play big-time, college football because of his speed, regardless of what he does or doesn’t do on the football field. Good thing he is good on the football field too. He is committed to play collegiately for the Centre Colonels. Of course, he is also our Independence Bank’s Revolutionary Player of the Week.
