This week’s “Revolutionary Player of the Week” is St. Xavier’s Micah Carter. The 6-5, 250-pounder is one of Kentucky’s very best at his position in either the ’23 class or any other. He already has an impressive list of offers and won the Defensive MVP of the EKU Big Man Challenge this past Saturday. Congratulations to Carter and join us again a week from today when we award this to another fine recipient. HB.

Here is a superstar who has already found the top of the leader board in numerous statistical categories for Louisville St. Xavier’s defensive unit in ’20 while only a sophomore. Guess what, he played as a freshman too, something which “never happens” to hear people talk. This kid here will be a household word across Kentucky before the coming season has expired. Talk about starting revolutions, Centre College has begun one in the minds of many of its conference mates with the in-state singing class it assembled this offseason. Yessir, the play a little football in Danville, Kentucky both at the high school and college levels, but then again you are probably already cognizant of that. Enjoy this look at one of Kentucky’s top DBs playing for one of its most storied programs at its highest level of competition. Sometimes we forget that not every kid comes in and slides straight into the Friday night lineup as a freshman. This is especially true at the 5A level of football in Kentucky. However, by year’s end we saw more and more of JT Adams patrolling the Colonel defense’s second level. Get ready, you will certainly see way more of that this year out of a kid we have consistently ranked among the top 2-3, 2023 LBs. Enjoy the article. HB.
