Miles Hollon, from Breathitt County, has come literally miles in a short time @Qb1miles4, @BreckenHarvey, @cleats2whistle, @wood7walker, @bigassfans, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @eCampusdotcom

’28 QB has gotten taller, stronger, more explosive…better!

Miles Hollon has been a ranked QB prospect in his graduating class since assuming the reigns to the potent Breathitt High attack as a freshman. Since that time, in two years at the helm, Hollon has wracked up around 4,000-yards of passing and scored 50 plus TDs. In 25, Hollon threw for 1,974 yards (averaging 151.8 yards a game) and 25 touchdowns while also running for 238 yards and fou r (4) touchdowns. That is quite a bit of production. Hollon has grown since last season, being listed at 6’0,” 160-pounds. Hollon is a pro-style guy who has worked offseason with both QB-guru, Walker Wood, and strength and conditioning coach, Brecken Harvey, in Hazard. Hollon is handling all the parts of the equation that are his to handle. This kid will have a monster junior season and attract quite a few eyes in the college football world while doing it. We hope you have the Bobcats on your list of contenders for the ’26 season in 2A. If you don’t, you’re in for quite the surprise.

Jackson (Breathitt County), KY: There really can’t be a more decorated player in the ’28 class at the quarterback position than Breathitt’s Miles Hollon. He has made two of the Big Ass Fans, Small School (1A, 2A, & 3A) All-State Football teams and even popped our Lasaters Coffee & Tea Preseason Nifty-Nichols squad.

Hollon isn’t being awarded these distinctions because of his statuesque stature or frame. He is earning inclusion on these teams the “old fashioned way.” Hollon is earning it.

His frame is improving. Hollon is developing, physically and otherwise.

Hollon measures around 6’0.” Hollons weighs 160-pounds and is running 40-yard dashes in the 4.7-4.8 range. Hollon is working with strength, conditioning, and speed guru Brecken Harvey out of Hazard, KY. Hollon will continue to gain in speed, vertical explosion, and spacial quickness.

Hollow works offseason with Walker Wood, a QB-coach and guru. The work is paying noticeable dividends for a young quarterback who enters his junior season with around 4,000-yards passing and 50 (or so) thrown TDs.

Hollon had a big 2025, his sophomore season. Hollon threw for 1,974 yards (averaging 151.8 yards a game) and 25 touchdowns in 2025.  Hollon also ran for 238 yards and four (4) touchdowns.

Hollon has gotten everything he has the old fashioned way, by earning it

Smith Barney (now Morgan Stanley)

We know Breathitt will be able to pound the rock. Big “Tater” (Tatyn Skidmore, ’28 lineman) will anchor a refigured “Big Blue Wall (Breathitt’s OL)” and Eli Thomas (All-State RB) is coming off a close to 1,400-yard rushing campaign during which he scored 21-rushing TDs and another four (4) on the receiving end.

Breathitt will also “spread you out” with their three-level passing attack featuring filthy speed, quicks, and scheme. It is a blend of unadulterated power coupled with enough “cuteness” to drive a defense crazy.

Breathitt is coming off a 10-win, 2025 season. With players coming back at the skills, and an infusion of team speed added to the attack, Breathitt should be in everyone’s 2A contender’s list.

Paramount to that prediction is getting back a leader at the QB slot who has led the team to 16-9 record in his first two years and has played in 25 varsity football games before his junior year even commences. Wait until you catch what Hollon is about to accomplish in these next two seasons.

It will be noteworthy. It may end up being downright breath-taking.
