This player has made every All-Whatever Team available to him in his short HS career and figures to keep making these teams. He has the nose for the football one would expect from a kid whose dad (Shorty Combs) is considered a mountain football legend and former EKU linebacking star. Dan Goble, a man whose teams terrorized the 4A classification when it was know in Kentucky as “big boy football” for 11-years has gained enshrinement into the KHSAA’s Hall of Fame Class of 2023. The magazine championed this cause. It numbers prominently among our greatest achievements.

Hagan Harrison was rumored injured. However, he looks “full go” to us the preseason. This is why we generally don’t report on injuries. Many of you have read “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll. That novel introduced many of us to the character, the Cheshire Cat, who is most known for his mischievous grin. There is another mischievous grin around the Richmond, Kentucky area and he has plenty of reason to be grinning.
