Miles Hollon being a darn good QB is news to no-one. Hollon is ranked among the elite players at his position in his graduating class and that lofty opinion has existed in regard to Hollon since his leaving middle school and (arguably) even before that. Every now and again, even though we already expect so much from this player, Hollon does something that makes you go, “Wow!” Friday night, on the road against Powell County, was one of those nights. Enjoy the feature.

We believe Hollon is well on his way to making our All-State football team again this season. We talk about him a lot. He gives us lots of reasons.

Jackson, KY: We are two games into the year and the Bobcats stand at 1-1 on the year after a murderous, two-game, road stretch to open the season. The ‘Cats are a failed two-point conversion away from 2-0.
One thing has been a constant. The Bobcats have gotten outstanding play from its all-state, junior QB. Miles Hollon, against Middlesboro on the road, threw for 178-yards while gaining 82-yards on the ground. Hollon scored a pair of TDs rushing and passing.
The following week, this past Friday night, Hollon completed 10 of his 12-passing attempts for 225-yards with five (5) passing TDs. Hollon led his Bobcats to a rousing 68-35 win over Powell County in Stanton, KY.
Tonight the Bobcats are on the riverbank to play an undefeated Estill County squad (2-0) ranked the 20th best team in the 3A classification according to MaxPreps. Estill is coming off a tough win over Garrard County, 35-26.
Hollon is the top-rated QB in his graduating class according to both QB Hit List and Prep Red Zone, two nationally prominent rating services. The way he has played so far, that seems about right!
