Quinton Simon is an under the radar guy who only got a couple nights run under the “Friday Night Lights.” Still, with limited opportunity, Simon has proven himself an exceptional talent among ’29 WR/LB/DB/KR/ATH across the commonwealth of Kentucky. One could even say Simon has been keeping it very cool there in the Fort Thomas, KY football scene. Simon was a star on the JV in both football and basketball and figures to mature into an every down, multi-phase threat for the Bluebirds in 2026. Simon sports a 3.77-GPA and at 5’10,” 175-pounds, he will be a tough matchup for plenty of opponents going forward. Coach Bob Sphire will be mighty happy, going forward into the ’26 season, to have an offensive/defensive/special teams (returner) weapon on the roster like Simon. Ethan Cobb has proven himself an exceptional talent among ’28 IOLs across the commonwealth of Kentucky. One could even say Cobb has been keeping it very cool there in the Campbellsville, KY football scene. Cobb was a starter and every down kind of guy for the Cardinals in 2025 and sports a three-plate (315-lbs.) bench press and a 505-pound back squat. At 5’11,” 275-pounds, that makes him extremely hard to dig out of the A-Gap. The 4A title seems to run through Boyle County, KY yearly. Matter of fact, the Rebels have won five (5) of the previous six (6) championships at that level of competition. If the truth be told, Franklin County finds itself making deep runs in the playoffs yearly including finishing 14-1 and playing Boyle for the title in 4A a year ago. Franklin County has one of Kentucky’s elite head football coaches (Eddie James) and boasts some of the commonwealth’s elite playing talent.
