We first told you about Sage Dawson in an feature we wrote about Caleb Burns in May of last year. Sage had started under center much of his freshman campaign for the Admirals and had drawn considerable notice then. Well today Sage gets his own feature. Congratulations! Dawson is a guy whose name you will hear more and more on the recruiting trail as he matures and develops. His development and “coming out” party will take place and kick off in Gatlinburg, Tennessee on May 22, 2021 at the Appalachia Prep Combine. Can’t wait to see what he does. HB.
He came out of Middle School one of Kentucky’s very finest prospects. His freshman year performance didn’t dampen anyone’s enthusiasm. This kid here is a “Break-out” certainty, and a rocket-explosion straight to stardom near-certainty. He’s worked pretty hard getting the hay up into the barn, now its time to go get paid. Shaun Roberts is a powerhouse and a former Kentucky Future Star. He will also have a tremendous year, we are predicting, Breaking-out onto the scene in the Fall of ’21. He is a low-to-the-ground heat seeking missile the “big-boys” always struggle with blocking because he is perpetually playing “below the hands.” Enjoy this look at a guy from whom you will be hearing much, much more. Middle Tennessee came through Kentucky and plucked Wilson Kelly from Boyle County from out of our ’20 class. All he did his first year in Murfreesboro was challenge for a spot in the starting lineup all season. Looks like that worked out well for the Blue Raiders. Well, now they are targeting Trevor Wilson from Covington Catholic. As this feature will demonstrate, targeting him is a good idea. MTSU won’t be the only team to think of it. Enjoy the feature. Many people around the area considered Adrain Stringer the best QB west of Louisville in HS football in ’20. Many were sorry that his senior season was basically taken from him as the Storm only got 6-games in ’20. Well, Stringer has elected to “Re-Do” his senior year, and as a very young member of the ’21 class, his reclassifying to ’22 looks to be a smart move on his part. In any event, we are sure glad to get to enjoy his on-field performance for another year. How much will he get to play? There is a fine player chomping at the bit for his turn at the wheel in Jaden Brasher. Enjoy the feature. HB.
