Is West Bloomfield, Michigan’s Michael D. Williams, II destined to be a Champion of the West?

April 15, 2019 Fletcher Long 1

We got the privilege of coaching this kid when we were on the coaching staff of the East All-American team at the Bret Cooper Junior All-American Classic in Dallas, Texas two years ago. Michael D. Williams played TE for us and was one of the more superb athletes in the game for either team. We weren’t surprised to hear he was already drawing offers from schools like The University of Michigan. February 5, 2018 Fletcher Long 0

We’re plowing already plowed field here featuring another Taylor County, Kentucky star in Ben Vaughn. Seems like we have before been here. Remember Logan Parker and Campbellsville’s own, Arren Hash (April 1, 2017, Arren Hash, The Rifleman)? Sure you do. I wrote about Logan on June 13, 2017 in an […]

June 4, 2017 Fletcher Long 2

Yes, I realize this on-line magazine is Kentucky Prep Gridiron.  Yes, I realize Gridiron denotes football.  That is why, to the casual observer, this article about Austin Gough’s phenomenal accomplishments at yesterday’s State Championship Middle School Track & Field Meet will, initially, seem out of place.  If you really believe excelling in more […]
