Noah Mize, class of ’22, from @Football_Hornet is the @1776Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week! @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball

May 14, 2021 Henry Lyon 0

Noah Mize is a guy opponents better not sleep on in ’21. This guy figures to be more of a factor this coming fall offensively for the Hornets and was plenty productive in the defensive backfield in ’20. He’s the kind of player around whom successful high school programs build. He’s also this week’s Revolutionary Player of the Week from your fastest growing financial institution in Kentucky, Independence Bank. Enjoy the feature. HB.

@loganlanders04 from @dave_brossart (Dixie Heights Football) may be the easiest “Break-out Player” call we have ever had to make. @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @1776Bank

Northern Kentucky football fans complain they don’t get the same level of coverage within the commonwealth as other areas get. They would be right. I don’t know why we don’t scour Northern Kentucky similar to how we do the other Kentucky regions. By “we,” I am referring to the Kentucky […]

@c_pennington10 from @lexsayrefb is this week’s @minguabeefjerky “Protein-packed Performer of the Week.” @1776Bank @KyHighFootball @PrepSpin @sayreschool

His is one of the most recognized names in Kentucky football. Largely because his dad, Chad Pennington, who is also the head football coach of the Sayre’s program, played 10-years in the NFL, was a Heisman Trophy finalist for Marshall’s Thundering Herd, and was drafted 18th-overall, as the first QB in the 2000 NFL draft. However, his son’s ability to play the same position is drawing quite a few apt comparisons. Enjoy this look at a feature about the son and not the dad and join us again next week as we feature another outstanding candidate. HB.

@SageDawson from Boyle County, Kentucky looks poised to ‘Break-out’ in ’21. @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @1776Bank

We first told you about Sage Dawson in an feature we wrote about Caleb Burns in May of last year. Sage had started under center much of his freshman campaign for the Admirals and had drawn considerable notice then. Well today Sage gets his own feature. Congratulations! Dawson is a guy whose name you will hear more and more on the recruiting trail as he matures and develops. His development and “coming out” party will take place and kick off in Gatlinburg, Tennessee on May 22, 2021 at the Appalachia Prep Combine. Can’t wait to see what he does. HB.

Breathitt’s @Jason_Perry59 is a player who’s sure to ‘Break-out’ though, arguably, he’s already arrived! #Brotherhood @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @1776Bank

He came out of Middle School one of Kentucky’s very finest prospects. His freshman year performance didn’t dampen anyone’s enthusiasm. This kid here is a “Break-out” certainty, and a rocket-explosion straight to stardom near-certainty. He’s worked pretty hard getting the hay up into the barn, now its time to go get paid. Enjoy this feature about one of ’24’s premier players at his positions. HB.

@VillarIsaiah, who has reclassified to the class of ’22, from @SchoolsParis, is a prospect whose ‘Break-out’ possibilities are intriguing. @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @ParisKYHS

Isaiah Villar is a guy whose stature would seem to be everything for which a college coach could ever hope at the WR/S/CB positions. We want to say, right off the bat, we don’t think he’s a corner at the next level regardless of whether the Greyhounds play him there […]

@TylerMo21734318 (Tyler Moore), Class of ’22 from @PurplesFootball is the @1776Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week. @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @CoachSpader

May 7, 2021 Henry Lyon 0

High School football has always had undersized, over-achievers glorified for what they can contribute to their high school football teams in front of the hometown fans. Tyler Moore is a slightly undersized kid, frame-wise, for where the Purple play him but his production is nothing short of D-1. This kid would be a brilliant pick-up for quite a few in-Kentucky, college programs. He’s our kind of guy because he gets the absolute most out of every gift the good Lord game him. This is what makes him our Revolutionary Player of the Week. Congratulations!

Talk about your guys ready to “Break-out,” you better be watching @BigShaunC_2005 (Shaun Roberts) pretty closely @BCHS_Rebels1955 fans! @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @1776Bank

May 6, 2021 Henry Lyon 0

Shaun Roberts is a powerhouse and a former Kentucky Future Star. He will also have a tremendous year, we are predicting, Breaking-out onto the scene in the Fall of ’21. He is a low-to-the-ground heat seeking missile the “big-boys” always struggle with blocking because he is perpetually playing “below the hands.” Enjoy this look at a guy from whom you will be hearing much, much more. HB.

We thought we would travel east this week and recognize a guy who is among the very best in the ’22 class playing the defense’s 3rd-level. This guy here already has an offer from Kentucky Wesleyan and he is far from through fielding offers. Enjoy reading about one of the Belfry Pirates favorite residents on Pond Creek. Join us next week when we award some more of Kentucky’s finest beef jerky to another worthy recipient. HB.
