In the Running…Lots of performances around Kentucky-candidates for @minguabeefjerky ‘Protein-packed Performer’ award. @1776Bank @KyHighFootball @MaxPreps @PrepSpin

We had another big week and so did these guys we have featured in this weekly series. This week we feature 24-current stars, one former star now in college, and a coach among the performances “singled out.” We believe one of these guys is very likely to win the Mingua Beef Jerky Award this Wednesday. We know this…there isn’t a bad choice in this entire article. Enjoy this look at some of the very fine performances we saw this past Friday night. HB.

@RowdySokolowski and Gage Sokolowski, a.k.a. “The Brothers Sokolowski” from @MurrayTigerFB’s are the Independence Bank Revolutionary Players of the Week. @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @MaxPreps

We don’t always award this to two players at once and we know the brothers Sokolowski are probably tired of being lumped together all the time but, c’mon, did you see the performance the two of them put up against 5A Christian County? Just ridiculous and both of the performances were so outstanding it would have been impossible to award this to one over the other. So, we awarded it to both. Join us again next week as we tee this up and award this prestigious honor to another player or players as the case may be. HB.

Carter Guillaume from @StXTigersFB is the @minguabeefjerky ‘Protein-packed Performer’ of the Week. @KyHighFootball @1776Bank @PrepSpin @MaxPreps

Two weeks in a row we have awarded this award to an offensive lineman as we award it to Kentucky’s very best offensive center. We won’t apologize. These guys have been doing the dirty work for little to no fanfare for far too long. We believe this guy is Kentucky’s best offensive center in the game today. Enjoy the feature. HB.

Halfway in…how are the ‘hold-backs’ doing? @Minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @1776Bank

It looks like Ky Galbreath is bucking to add his name to that of “Cameron Hergott” on the list of former 21’s, reclassified as 22’s, who have made the reclassification work for (as opposed to against) them. Many others haven’t faired nearly so well. We won’t know for a couple years for sure, but questions are already being asked. Was reclassifying good for players or not? This article may not answer the question but it does take a look at it. HB.

Payton Cope from Allen County-Scottsville is this week’s @1776Bank ‘Revolutionary Player of the Week.’ @Acope01 @ACSFBCoach @acspatriotradio @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin, @MaxPreps

We have another good one for this week’s Revolutionary Player in Scottsville’s Payton Cope. Okay, technically Independence Bank doesn’t have a Scottsville branch but it has a Bowling Green branch on Scottsville Road. Looks like the commonwealth’s fast growing bank appears headed that direction anyway. Enjoy this feature and join us next week as we will do this all over and gladly. HB.
