The difference between the rosters of teams doing well versus those who aren’t is often the number of good players the roster contains. We are enormously privileged to get to vote in the weekly AP top-10 football polls for all 6 classifications of KHSAA football. This article is how we cast our ballot this week. THIS IS NOT THE OFFICIAL POLL as it will be released to the public this coming Monday afternoon, if tradition holds. We pour over data and statistical information in order to arrive at each team’s poll position. Don’t get too upset with how we vote, it plays itself out on the field anyway.

This week’s Stewart Williams Company Robertson County Player of the Week is Noah Batey from Greenbrier High School. Batey is a 6-4, 290-pound OT who is playing well for the Bobcats so far this season in spite of the team’s struggling somewhat at 1-5. His play regularly exceeds any and all reasonable expectations, week after week. Enjoy this look at a big guy getting the job done for his teammates.
