Speaking of someone making a home…
Noah Batey is a big who has made a home along the Bobcats’ offensive front-line. We love the bigs at Kentucky Prep Gridiron and they don’t get much bigger than Noah Batey at the high school level. Batey, who, in spite of his heft, is pretty mobile (5.8-second 40-yard dash), is the type of big, lengthy, rangy edge-protection and road-grader offensive lines need playing Tennessee Class 4A football.
Batey graduates this spring and he will be sorely missed next season. He is 6-4, 290-pounds, and is an athletic guy who has the ability to fire off the line and drive defenders into the defensive second level if he can get locked on his guy. Noah is a player about whose motor teams will inquire so his playing, every play, as hard as he can will be something he will want to do. Remember Noah, the Hudl eye in the sky is always watching, so no plays off out on the field.
Congratulations, to Noah Batey of Greenbrier, Tennessee for being selected the Stewart Williams Furniture Company’s Robertson County Player of the Week. Join us, next week, as we anoint a new recipient.
Reporting for KPGFootball, this is HB Lyon, reminding all of you ballers out there that #WeGotUCovered and we’re JUST CALLING IT LIKE WE SEE IT!
