Well, it’s Springfield vs. Greenbrier week, and Springfield High School’s Nate Kendrick (2020, NG) is the Stewart Williams Robertson County Player of the Week!

If you don’t know what kind of football program they have going at Springfield High School, then you don’t know enough about high school football to read this magazine. Well, the mighty Yellow-Jackets will get it on tonight against its most hated, Cross-County rival, Greenbrier. Nate Kendrick is a guy who could figure prominently into the outcome on both the defensive and offensive sides of the football. He’s a 6-0, 249 pound defensive lineman principally who has been getting used as a lead blocker from out of the backfield with more frequency as the season as worn along. This week’s Stewart Williams Company Robertson County Player of the Week is Noah Batey from Greenbrier High School. Batey is a 6-4, 290-pound OT who is playing well for the Bobcats so far this season in spite of the team’s struggling somewhat at 1-5. His play regularly exceeds any and all reasonable expectations, week after week. Enjoy this look at a big guy getting the job done for his teammates.
