Lexington Christian Academy (LCA) is tracking that title this year in 2A and the Eagles have all the flight power needed to walk off Kroger Field very, very happy. Many of you have read “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll. That novel introduced many of us to the character, the Cheshire Cat, who is most known for his mischievous grin. There is another mischievous grin around the Richmond, Kentucky area and he has plenty of reason to be grinning. His team is playing very well and may finish strong enough to come away with some 8th-District, Class 6A hardware. Enjoy the feature. HB.

A subscriber contacted us and asked us whether Caudill Middle School’s 2019 football team which just won its second, consecutive KYMSFA football championship is the “best middle school team” to ever take a Kentucky football field. We have heard thunder only happens when it is raining. We have also heard where there is thunder there is also lightening. Well, opponents of Caudill Middle School have been experiencing some terrible weather over the past three seasons. The two backs we have featured today, Kenyatta “Thunder” Hodge and Brady “Lightening” Hensley, are the most dynamic and productive backfield in Kentucky’s Class of 2024. Enjoy the article. HB.
