It is awe-inspiring when you consider all the ways the Bombers football team in ’22 leaned on Jerrico Wilson. Sure the program suffered through a bad season but Wilson was dynamic and spectacular. Enjoy this feature about our Protein-packed Performer of the Week and don’t forget to make time to #savortheflavor of the country’s finest all-beef jerky products. HB.

Just the Facts…

We have taken to putting more of our articles behind the pay-wall for the benefit of our subscribers only. After all, the subscribers to the site and the advertisers are the only people to whom we answer in the end. Much of the information we relate is valuable to our subscribers and advertisers which is why they support us. It wouldn’t be right, and would deny them the benefit of their bargains, to just give it away to any and everyone. Sorry, it’s called capitalism. We have forecast the winners of nearly every game to be played November 1, 2019. Let’s see how we do. We were 42-6 in the 48 we picked last week. Enjoy the article but only if you are a member or advertiser. Otherwise, you can begin wondering what we said about your team’s chances.

Ten Friday night match-ups where the clock will run…

October 10, 2019 Henry Lyon 0

We could pick games every week without missing a single prediction if we wanted to do that. There are very good HS football teams in Kentucky and there are very bad ones too. Just to prove a point, we have outlined ten games we guarantee will be won convincingly by the team we have predicted. If we lose even one of these ten, check the temperature in Hell. Funny thing is, a few of these matchups are between teams with similar records. Well, not all 2-4 records are similarly constituted. Enjoy the article. HB.

Part 3 of 3 of “wandering through the wasteland…” Predicted District Winners for the 2A and 1A Classifications…(Featured Photograph Brendon Miller, Bluegrass Sports Nation)

This is part three of our three-part series “Wandering through the wasteland…” Today we predict the district winners in Classes 2 and 1A. This concludes our series. I would mention Fletcher Long, formerly a writer here at KPGFootball and now working for Bluegrass Sports Nation called and said some coaches have taken strenuous exception to this analysis. To those offended, I am saddened you take offense. Still, we strive to be true to our craft and our opinion is just that…ours.

KPGFootball’s Weekly Winners (08.31.2018)

August 29, 2018 Fletcher Long 0

Well, last week KPGFootball picked 17 football games and went 15-2. Not too shabby even if it is we saying so. We had enough fun doing that we decided we would go another round and, this time, we are picking 20 games. For some of these matchups we might make […]

Class of 2019’s Erick Marinelli…

June 14, 2018 Fletcher Long 0

They call Ballard Memorial The Bombers and there were many occasions last year where they bombed their opponent and even more times they were bombed. It was kind of a best of times, worst of times, tale of two teams if you will. The Bombers scored 416 points in 11 games. Well, […]

Guess the Quarterback…Riddle me this?

November 15, 2017 Fletcher Long 0

One of my favorite shows back in the day was Batman and Robin and one of it’s greatest villains was called The Riddler. My research indicates The Riddler first appeared in the comic book series in 1948. There was a particular line which The Riddler said on one of the shows that went […]

Cameron Jordan, Class of 2020, Trigg County’s Scintillating Sophomore

September 12, 2017 Fletcher Long 1

The term scintillating can be used to describe one as being both brilliant and highly skilled. Scintillating can refer to one’s personality or one’s performance. I would say when referencing Trigg County’s Cameron Jordan, who I happen to know personally, it is an apt adjective for both. As this is a football publication, it is being applied […]

July 1, 2017 Fletcher Long 0

Julie Thomas with Ballard County Schools has released that the keys to the Ballard Memorial football program have been handed over to the capable hands of football coaching veteran Mark Brooks. Brooks formerly coached the defensive line at State 4A powerhouse, Hopkinsville High School, and even more recently, was set […]
