’25 QB is a versatile weapon in Bomber arsenal
Hunter Bealmear is a fine example of football stars can be found on any roster in Kentucky regardless of the program’s level of competitiveness. Bealmear is a 6’1,” 165-pounder who is a leader in completions, attempts, yards passing, and TDs thrown in the passing game. Bealmear is also the leader in rushing yards from scrimmage and tied for the lead in TDs scored by land. Bealmear was 2nd in scoring. Bealmear was among the club leaders in tackles and tied for the club lead in INTs. All of this and the kid is a star on the diamond too. This guy is a winner (and a player) who has a boat load of athletic skills. Certainly worth a look. Hey, a college program can’t always shop the diamond store. Sometimes, one’s program has to find the diamonds in the rough.

Barlow, KY: Migua Beef Jerky uses Enviro-Pac CHU-2000 equipment to cook its meat to USDA required levels for both moist or dry operation. Mingua Beef Jerky wants you to become one of its many satisfied customers by sampling its quality hand sliced, all natural beef jerky. We know you’ll love it and come back for more, again and again.
Ronnie Mingua began experimenting with making beef jerky back in the 1990s. He shared his efforts with neighbors and friends, soon realizing he had come up with something different and superior to all other beef jerkies on the market. From these humble beginnings, Mingua Beef Jerky got its start.
Today, the Mingua Beef Jerky Company still prides itself on using its old-fashioned, all-natural recipes which offer outstanding products to customers across the nation. The recipes are a family tradition, passed down from generation to generation.
Our recipes and our quality ingredients, hand-cut from solid pieces of beef, are never chopped or formed like other brands, making our products superior and one of a kind. That would make our products similar to this week’s Protein-packed Performer, Hunner Bealmear, ’25 QB/ATH from Ballard Memorial High School in Barlow, Kentucky.
All football teams have star players whether they thrive or struggle. If you cover middle and high school football across Kentucky, you’ll learn that if you learn nothing else.
The Ballard Memorial Bombers struggled in ’23. When you finish 0-9, and your closest shot at a “W” came in October, at home, against Fulton County, in a game you lost 26-20; that is the sine qua non of struggling.
That doesn’t mean everyone wearing a Bomber uniform struggled. Hunner Bealmear had a very productive year, particularly in light of circumstances.
The rising senior QB was the leader in completions, attempts, yards passing, and TDs thrown in the passing game. Bealmear was the leader in rushing yards from scrimmage and was tied for the lead in TDs scored via the ground game.
Bealmear was 2nd in scoring. Bealmear was among the club leaders in tackles. Bealmear was tied for the club lead in INTs.
All of this and the young man is a star on the baseball diamond too. Like we said in the beginning, every team in Kentucky has a star player who would thrive even on a roster from a program competing for championships.
You just have to look for them. That’s what Mingua Beef Jerky pays us to do.
Join us next week as we return to honor another weekly prize winner. Until then, pop some Mingua Beef Jerky in your mouth and savor the quality and flavor which sets it apart from the competition. Remember, our product is superior and one of a kind; just like Ballard Memorial High’s, Hunner Bealmear.
This is Friday Night Fletch reporting for Kentucky Prep Gridiron and reminding you to PLAY THROUGH THE WHISTLE. Don’t forget to SAVOR THE FLAVOR!
