Jennings has led his Tomcats to a 9-1 mark, entering the 4A playoffs, and Ashland has yet to lose a game to a Kentucky high school on the year. What will they do in these upcoming playoffs? “Cherry” is a term with which we are familiar particularly in discussing vintage automobiles. Cherry is beginning to define excellent down lineman play for the Centurion defense, or that is what it meant this past Thursday night in the big road win at Manual High. Lincoln Acree won this award this past offseason for an incredible outing at the Rivals camp in Atlanta. Once the season commenced, the stud athlete was up to his old tricks. When you play for Graves County, a win over Mayfield doesn’t happen everyday so it should be celebrated and rewarded.
