Owensboro Catholic’s Drew Hartz is the Independence Bank, Revolutionary Player of the Week
There is no better time than the present to anoint another Independence Bank player of the week. Independence Bank is proud to sponsor a weekly article highlighting players in the areas where Independence Bank flourishes who embody the same type of revolutionary service to their respective football teams which has made Independence Bank unique and special in the banking industry. This week’s recipient is a quarterback who is a coveted and talented backfield star for the Aces from Owensboro Catholic High School. His efforts really made the Aces’ offense roll. We have heard thunder only happens when it is raining. We have also heard where there is thunder there is also lightening. Well, opponents of Caudill Middle School have been experiencing some terrible weather over the past three seasons. The two backs we have featured today, Kenyatta “Thunder” Hodge and Brady “Lightening” Hensley, are the most dynamic and productive backfield in Kentucky’s Class of 2024. Enjoy the article. HB.

This is part two of a two part series we are calling the “Freshman Fifteen.” These aren’t necessarily the best fifteen football players or prospects in Kentucky but they are fifteen players we believe most likely to play before the 2019 season is over in the varsity lineup. Some will play because the team has specific need where they are slotted and some will play because they are just that good. Yeast and Wesleyan pull the trigger on four from the #Brotherhood.
If they belong to #Brotherhood, they can play the sport of football. Myriad are the examples of this. Yesterday, KWC extended offers which included offers to these three members of #Brotherhood. None of these three have seen their last offer. We got to watch all three perform at KWC’s prospect camp and we came away as impressed as Coach Yeast. Enjoy the article.
