Every list ever published extolling the ability of any body of people have had people undervalued on the list, people overvalued on the list, and people glaringly omitted. No list is perfect. BoyleCo has done yeoman’s work here, and while we may not agree with the order, we can’t argue with any of the thirty he listed. We can and will give our opinion…and here it is. Enjoy the article. Part of what we do is preserve on our database the history of Kentucky High School football both for the purposes of posterity and because the present recorders of history suck at this. In this article we will go back and look at one of Northern Kentucky’s greatest teams ever, the Juggernauts of Lloyd Memorial.

Five of our KPGFootball All-Staters were awarded certificates last night (with Jaylen Turner not pictured) by the Breathitt County Board of Education. Congratulations boys and thanks to the BOE for recognizing their considerable achievement. HB.
Sure, Tyler Morris and Jaylin “The Boss” Bross are among the best football players in Kentucky in their respective classes. Neither of them got there by themselves. Just to give you an idea the role Kentucky Prep Gridiron plays in the promotion of the kids we cover, we thought it would be neat to look at this year’s AP All-State Football Team and see just how many of them have, either formerly or presently, make one of our All-State Teams. The results were illuminating. HB.
Well, it is National Signing Day and some kids we kicked off covering when we first came on line are leaving us for the college ranks. We don’t feel as sad as the parents, but it is pretty close. Going to always remember the class of 2020. We are going to miss the class of 2020.
Rivals Dave tweeted out that he treats information sent him about Appalachia Mountain, Kentucky football players as “spam.” Well, we disagree with Rivals. We think there are fine football players all over the mountains. The USAF Academy agrees with us and was in the mountains last night to scout some 2021s and check in with its 2020 signee, Grayson Cook. Who did the Falcons evaluate?
