If you don’t know they play a little football in Bardstown, KY you have never read my book, “Kentucky’s All-Time HS FB Coaches and a Few More I Liked” nor have you heard of Garnis Martin. The Point is…they have been fielding quality football teams around Bardstown since they had a school named My Old Kentucky Home High. Bardstown is staring to look very formidable again this season as they have gotten off to a 3-0 start. The Tigers are being led by a combo RB,QB named Elijah Young and the 5’10, 190-pound sophomore is posting some all-time marks particularly passing the ball.
