The Breathitt County Board of Education awarded certificates of its own design and making to five KPGFootball All-State players whose play we had before distinguished in our selection of them. Picture in the featured photograph attached to this article are Bryce Hoskins, Freshman 1st-Teamer; Teegan Smith, Sophomore 1st-Teamer; Connor Deaton, Sophomore 1st-Teamer; and Evan Miller, Freshman Honorable Mention. Also recognized from the Breathitt squad, but not in the picture, was Jaylen Turner, Sophomore 1st-Teamer.
It is very gratifying to see the teams we work so hard to publish, and the publishing of which has garnered tremendous and malignant criticism from time to time, both flourish and gain such institutional acceptance. Congratulations guys and thanks to the Breathitt County Board of Eduction and all those other legitimate agencies across Kentucky who have stepped up to recognize our All-Staters (Pictured to the left, William Long, II, former KPGFootball Freshman 1st-Teamer (2017) and Sophomore 1st-Teamer (2018) being awarded a certificate for making the AP 1st-Team for the second consecutive year).
