We were thrilled to interview him and even more thrilled that a school called and offered him while we were conducting the interview. A player from the eastern Kentucky area contacted the magazine through a staff member and assured KPGFootball he was coming for the ’22 “Mr. Football Award” and that we should get prepared for his run-up that ladder. We love the kid’s enthusiasm and confidence. That being said, we would think, at this point, Kenyon Goodin presently looks like he may be a hard man to beat for next year’s “Mr. Football,” assuming he puts forth the numbers on both sides of the football he did in ’21.
