’25 QB and record setting QB for Tilghman becoming a man of Troy

Jack James has had quite a career. He will be leaving the Blue Tornado program its all-timer in almost every major statistical category. He may be leaving with a 4A title to add to the other illustrious hardware the program has before earned. James had quite the night in Hopkinsville, Kentucky against the Tigers. It was a Jerky-worthy performance. So, we thought we would send him some.

Ronnie Mingua began experimenting with making beef jerky back in the 1990s. He shared his efforts with neighbors and friends, soon realizing he had come up with something different and superior to all other beef jerkies on the market. From these humble beginnings, Mingua Beef Jerky got its start.

Today, the Mingua Beef Jerky Company still prides itself on using its old-fashioned, all-natural recipes which offer outstanding products to customers across the nation. The recipes are a family tradition, passed down from generation to generation.

Our recipes and our quality ingredients, hand-cut from solid pieces of beef, are never chopped or formed like other brands, making our products superior and one of a kind. That would make our products similar to this week’s Protein-packed Performer, Jack James, ’25 QB and Troy Commitment from Tilghman High School in Paducah, Kentucky.

…[S]omething different and superior to all other beef jerkies…

“KPGFootball” on the quality of Mingua Beef Jerky products

If you ever listen to our radio podcast produced and disseminated by iHeart Radio and 840WHAS out of Louisville, Kentucky, then you know I am a huge fan of the roster talent amassed at Paducah’s Tilghman High. There is no talent on the roster superior to the play the program has enjoyed at the QB position.

Jack James will leave Tilghman High its all-timer in virtually every major statistical category for QBs. James was displaying the prowess in Hopkinsville, Kentucky during a 56-0 runaway rout of the homesteading Hoptown Tigers.

Don’t be embarrassed Tigers! Tilghman does this to everybody.

Did you hear about the 61-7 the Blue Tornado put on a Graves team (5A) coming off an opening win over Mighty Mayfield? Did you hear about Tilghman’s lumping a 41-10 rout on Mighty Mayfield?

James was scintillating against Hopkinsville. James completed 22 of his 35-passing attempts (63% completion rate), for 309-yards, and 4-TDs through the air. James tacked on a 5th-TD rushing.

James has completed 67% of his passes this season and averaged 325.8-yards passing and 3.6-TDs passing a night

KHSAA Statistical Website

This performance was consistent with what he has done through the first five games of his senior year. James is completing 67% of his passes on the season (124/186). James has thrown for 1,629-yards over the first five (5) with 18-TDs, 4-picks, and 4-rushing TDs.

James is a committed prospect. It was rumored James was headed to Charlotte (formerly UNC-Charlotte). These rumors proved unsubstantiated with his pledge to the men of Troy University.

We have talked about James as one of Paducah’s best all-time QBs. What about Kentucky wide?

James entered the Hoptown game with 138 career touchdown passes. This left him six TDs from tying the KHSAA TD passing record currently held by Elijah Sindelar of Caldwell County (2011-2014).

After the Tiger game, James stands at 142-career TD passes, just two shy of Sindelar’s career mark of 144. We would bet you very good money, Sindelar’s mark gets tied or surpassed this coming week against Allen County-Scottsville.

KPGFootball Predicted Score: Paducah Tilghman 44 (97%) of winning), ACS 14
