The season is upon us quicker than you would believe. Dead Period is over in two days and there is nothing on the other side of Dead Period apart from Seven’s tournaments, scrimmages, and openers. We are going to put together some preseason all-state groupings. We hope to get to all the position groups, but can’t promise it. Here are the Small School, Preseason, All-State offensive linemen. Enjoy, and let the arguing begin…Friday Night Fletch!

Zane Johnson is the @1776Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week @ZaneJohnson_3 @TrinityHSFB @Coach_AHiggins @minguabeefjerky @840WHAS

Zane Johnson did the un-thinkable a year ago. He started at QB for one of the country’s premier programs against a nationally prominent schedule and led the team to its 28th title. Wow, what a mouthful! He is entering his sophomore season and he is poised to stake his claim as one of the commonwealth’s very best HS QBs at any level. Enjoy this feature and don’t forget to get by your local Independence Bank and discover why and how our people, financial products, and services have started a revolution in the Kentucky banking industry. Friday Night Fletch.

Tristin Dillard cleared for play at CCHS by KHSAA… @CoachAtchley @AlPopsFootball @ColonelFootball @ReallyTristin @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank

Tristin Dillard came out of Middle School ranked by most the pundits among the top three RBs in Kentucky’s 2027 graduating class. Dillard had a solid freshman season but has transferred to 6A, first district, Christian County and looks to us to be set for take off. The Colonels will be vastly improved in ’24 from the team which competed in ’23. Players like Dillard are the reason why. Enjoy the article. Friday Night Fletch.

Elijah Hankins will be carrying much of the load for the Red Devils this next season @reddevilsfball @elijah_hankins @russellfball @tjmaynard54 @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @840WHAS

The Red Devils from Russell High lost a ton of production from off its 7-5 football team in ’23. They lost their leading passer, leading rusher, leading tackler, 2nd leading scorer, and 2nd leading back-end defender all in losing the one player, District POY, Ethan Pack. They lost way more than that off a team which was a couple scores from 9-3. However, let’s focus on what they return. One very valuable and versatile weapon returning is ’25’s Elijah Hankins. Enjoy the feature. Friday Night Fletch.

STORM WARNING: Is Isaac Manning a candidate for the small school All-State Football Team? Wouldn’t bet against him! @_CoachManning @HopkinsCentral @840WHAS @minguabeefjerky @JoshGunn311

June 27, 2024 Fletcher Long 0

Isaac Manning is a rising senior who looks poised to make a run at our end of the year, small-school (1A, 2A, & 3A) All-State football team. He is a versatile player and athlete who has the physical dimensions and speed to thrive on either side of the football or even both. Enjoy this look at the “heir-apparent” to Calil McNary on the Storm playing field this coming Fall. Friday Night Fletch.

Dylan Branson is the @minguabeefjerky Protein-packed Performer of the Week @DylanBranson91 @1776Bank @KyHighFootball @WoodfordFBall @AlPopsFootball @PrepRedzoneKY

Not all middle school players are equally constituted. Some arrive with high school, varsity ready frames to compete immediately. We would put Dylan Branson from Woodford County in that class. Enjoy this feature and and don’t forget to #SavorTheFlavor of the country’s very finest beef jerky products. Friday Night Fletch.

Amonti Marshall from Bardstown is ready to make the senior year count! @Amonti07 @BardstownFootb1 @TTaylor_55 @minguabeefjerky @840WHAS @1776Bank @KyHighFootball

Bardstown High can sure develop some talent. Remember Tyleeq Williams from a year ago. He gained 1,834-yards and scored 20-rushing TDs. HIs backfield mate, Amonti Marshall had quite a year too. Marshall is back in ’24 for a final tour and early indications are he may have a Tyleeq-like impact. Enjoy the feature. Friday Night Fletch.
