Thomas Sizemore is one of the more recognizable names playing football across Kentucky, especially in the ’28 graduating class. He had a tremendous freshman season and was selected an FBU, Freshman All-American for his efforts. Look for this guy to see more offensive deployment heading into the ’25 season. Kadin Hanshaw is among the more versatile performers in the entire commonwealth of Kentucky. One might say he is “in the lead” to represent the “Big Ass Fans” Large School All-State Football Offense at RB/LB in 2025. It is still early. However, what this guy did as a sophomore was pretty dad-burn impressive and made him a serious candidate for the ’24 team even though he ended up getting edged out. Rylan Gillion came up big at (perhaps) the biggest game of the year. Covington Catholic, fresh off an improbable win over Kentucky’s very best football team at the high school level, rolled into Frankfort, Kentucky looking for its second road-upset of the playoffs. What they found was a mighty cool customer in Rylan Gillion. Gillion’s production may have accounted for the 14-10 margin in the Flyers’ favor.
