Big Ass Fans from Lexington, Kentucky has a simple corporate goal. The company is “creating a more comfortable world,” one fan at a time.

The logo is the rear of a donkey (Fanny) swishing its tail back and forth. The trademarked logo is among Kentucky’s more celebrated and well known corporate identities across the commonwealth and has come to represent commitment to quality, cutting-edge innovation, and product reliability.

Big Ass Fans is so much more than just a gigantic fan. It is gigantic quality, gigantic performance, and a gigantic commitment to reliability and innovation. Its size is far from the only selling point about our product. Our product is a Kentucky Comfort Creator…and, these days, isn’t that exactly what Kentucky needs?

Friday Night Fletch

Louisville, KY: Coach Paul Mandeville seems to have things headed in a positive direction. The Doss Dragons were 7-4, in ’24, and dropped a very close game in the playoff’s first round to Spencer County, by four (4) points, in Louisville.

St. Francis deSales is the “Big Fish,” if you will, in 4A, District 3. Doss is trying hard to gain some ground and is developing the type talent it will require to “get there.”

Dishawn Donaldson is a two year starter who is entering a senior year where much is expected from him. He played very well as a junior.

By our tally, Donaldson played in 11-games and was fourth on the team in scoring. Not an easy feat for a guy who almost exclusively played defense.

Donaldson registered 48-tackles, four (4) TFLs, half a sack, and a whopping five (5) FRs. That fumble recovery stat either led 4A or was darn close.

In deference to his motto, Donaldson’s roaming the field netted him five (5) FRs in ’24

Friday Night Fletch

Donaldson’s motto is “Roam the field, never yield.” From our vantage point, that appears to be exactly what he has been doing on Friday Nights!

Donaldson is 5’10,” and weighs ibuprofen at 163-pounds. He is getting a bunch of attention on the recruiting trail with several schools in hot pursuit.

Any kid who is going into his third season starting on a Louisville, 4A roster is a kid who can play. Where this kid ultimately ends up playing in college will be a fun matter to monitor.

Until then, the Dragons have to find a way past those pesky, cross-town Colts. Give ’em a big roar and some of that fire there, Puff. That ought to do it!
