Robinson from Christian Academy-Louisville (CAL) is the Man! @midrange_man, @bigassfans, @minguabeefjerky, @KyHighFootball

December 20, 2024 Fletcher Long 0

Man Robinson was one of only three ’28’s to make either the small or large school all-state football teams. Big Ass Fans sponsored the team and continues to demonstrate a willingness to support and promote young Kentucky kids in the pursuit of their dreams and aspirations. We are proud to award this week’s award and recognition to one of those three freshmen who are now (and forever more) known as football All-staters. Enjoy the feature and let’s keep it cool out there Kentucky!

It has been hailed as the most thorough and comprehensive all-state football team in Kentucky history. Big Ass Fans and its selection committee honored 152-players, Kentucky wide, from each of its six (6) classifications. People on this team attend 81 of Kentucky 220-some odd high schools across the commonwealth. Two member of the Central Storm made the squad. We’re here to tell you about them.

We are celebrating the end of the football season in Kentucky and this is All-state week for us at KPGFootball. Yesterday, we published our Small School, All-State Offense and today we give you the Defense. This team won’t be perfect, there will be plenty of worthy players left off. However, we are confident these guys here are plenty worthy. Enjoy and let the debate begin.

Rylan Gillion from Franklin County is the @bigassfans Kentucky Comfort Creator of the Week @ChiefSmoke10, @minguabeefjerky, @FCFlyerFootball, @FLYERATHLETICS

December 6, 2024 Fletcher Long 0

Rylan Gillion came up big at (perhaps) the biggest game of the year. Covington Catholic, fresh off an improbable win over Kentucky’s very best football team at the high school level, rolled into Frankfort, Kentucky looking for its second road-upset of the playoffs. What they found was a mighty cool customer in Rylan Gillion. Gillion’s production may have accounted for the 14-10 margin in the Flyers’ favor. Now, it is on to Lexington where Franklin County will play a talented Paducah Tilghman team. Enjoy the feature and let’s keep it cool out there Kentucky!

Santee Brock is a guy who started the year on the sidelines but has come out into the sunshine in the latter stages of the season in a big, big way. This guy had an incredible game against Male in the second round and braces for a trip to Trinity for the Regional Championship. Enjoy the feature and let’s keep it cool out there Kentucky!

Max Pelfry is the Big Ass Fans Kentucky Comfort Creator this Week @coach_chandler, @ChiefSmoke10, @pelfrey_max, @minguabeefjerky, @bigassfans, @KyHighFootball

November 15, 2024 Fletcher Long 0

Max Pelfry has been “keeping it cool” around Kentucky for almost as long as Big Ass Fans. This guy has been among the best players at his position since his middle school All-Star days. His high school career has been everything we thought it would be and he would make an excellent “take” for a small college program looking to take on a next-level QB with all the skills. Enjoy the feature and let’s keep it cool out there Kentucky!

Kade Goodin from Collins High is the @bigassfans Kentucky Comfort Creator of the Week @KadeGoodin, @MLCTitanCoach, @drew_toennies, @cleats2whistle, @sfitz_840whas, @840WHAS, @minguabeefjerky

Kade Goodin is a ’27 guy we have been following for years. You may wonder how that is even possible? If we just covered HS, it probably wouldn’t be but we get on these guys in middle school and often follow them to college. This guy is a future Saturday player at a minimum. He has plus size, length, and athleticism. He is a two sport varsity athlete, also playing point guard in basketball, which is the QB of a basketball team. He is a QB for Collins but is projected to play WR at the next level. Enjoy the feature and let’s keep it cool out there Kentucky.
