’27 DE is among the best on the Western End of KY at his position group

Jesse Clark is a ’27 prospect who is gaining mention among the better players at his position on the western end of KY. He is still young yet, but schools are noticing and so are we at the magazine. Jesse has the classic build of a Div. I end on the defensive side (6’3,” 260-pounds). With his carrying a 3.5-GPA, this will be a kid schools won’t be afraid to pursue as his gaining immediate eligibility won’t be in question. There are some really fine footballers at Murray High. They just may give “Mighty Mayfield” a run for its money.

Murray, KY: Jesse Clark is a sophomore who has a considerable publicity machine backing him. That is a very good thing as such situations lend to players who might otherwise go unnoticed, getting noticed. Being in that business ourselves, we support such efforts.

Clark’s dad runs Trench Medias. They are the photographers of many of the shots we will use to promote Clark even further.

Clark is a beast. At 6’3, 260-pounds, Clark has the height, substance, and length to man the DE slot at football’s highest collegiate levels. With his 3.5-GPA he has the academic scores to play at collegiate’s highest academic levels too.

Clark plays football for a really good Western Kentucky, 2A, football program. One of Murray’s biggest issues the past decade or so is having to find a way over, under, or around one of the classification’s heavyweights, Mighty Mayfield.

Murray has to find its way around “Mighty Mayfield”

Friday Night Fletch

If we have to explain to you who Mighty Mayfield is, this is probably not the site for you. This site is for “football people.” That is another term we shouldn’t have to define. You’re either a “football person” or you’re not.

Murray was 8-4 in ’24, losing to Owensboro Catholic in the second round, another WKY, 2A juggernaut. Murray had one of Kentucky’s highest regarded prospects in ’24 in ATH, Jeremiah Jones.

Jones signed with the Cornhuskers (Nebraska). He was something.

Clark is something too. Clark had 51-tackles, a TFL, a QB-sack, and recovered a fumble all while a sophomore playing on an eight (8) win roster in one of 2A’s better programs.

Clark is doing all the right, offseason things. Clark is making visits. Clark is on the combine/camp circuit. Clark is working on the fundamentals while both strengthening and conditioning to keep his upward trajectory on target.

Word to the wise here, keep an eye on this Cat. You know the Indian proverb about Tigers. The hardest part of riding a Tiger is definitely the dismount.
