@zac10ckhart from @PikevilleHSFB is the @minguabeefjery “Protein-packed Performer of the Week.” @PrepSpin, @KyHighFootball, @1776Bank

Ronnie Mingua began experimenting with making beef jerky back in the 1990s. He shared his efforts with neighbors and friends, soon realizing he had come up with something different and superior to all other beef jerkies on the market. From these humble beginnings, Mingua Beef Jerky got its start.

Today, the Mingua Beef Jerky Company still prides itself on using its old-fashioned, all-natural recipes which offer outstanding products to customers across the nation. The recipes are a family tradition, passed down from generation to generation.

Migua Beef Jerky uses Enviro-Pac CHU-2000 equipment to cook its meat to USDA required levels for both moist or dry operation. Mingua Beef Jerky wants you to become one of its many satisfied customers by sampling its quality hand sliced, all natural beef jerky. We know you’ll love it and come back for more, again and again.

Our recipes and our quality ingredients, hand-cut from solid pieces of beef and never chopped or formed like other brands, make our products superior and one of a kind. That would make our products similar to this week’s Protein Packed Performer of the Week, Zack Lockhart, WR, from Pikeville, Kentucky, wouldn’t it? His efforts exerted on behalf of his Pikeville football team, in its third game at Henry Clay (6A), was superior, record-setting, and one of a kind.

It isn’t everyday the Protein-packed Performer of the Week will have set two new state records during his performance and finish 3rd in an altogether different statistical category. That is exactly what this week’s winner did.

Zack Lockhart, a junior and pictured to the right, is a 6-1, 180-pound WR in the class of 2022. He is roundly considered among the top, overall athletes in the mountains and the best WR in his graduating class.

On Friday night, in the Panthers 58-41 victory over 6A Lexington Henry Clay played on the road, Lockhart caught 17-passes from QB, Isaac McNamee. Catching 17-passes in one night is 3rd all-time in Kentucky high-school football history.

He probably wins some of the world’s finest Beef Jerky and a T-shirt if we stop there. However, Lockhart also accounted for 388-receiving yards (state record) and caught 7-TDs (state record). Basically and statistically, he accounted for a season’s worth of production for most receivers playing high school football in just one night.

Pikeville High School, the top ranked team in the 1A classification, plays again this Friday night. The Panthers will travel to Campbell County, a district 6 team, to play Mike Woolf’s 1-2 Camels, and their fine QB, Arren Hash. The senior QB (Arren Hash) attempting to out-duel Pikeville’s top-rated junior QB (Isaac McNamee) will be a matchup worth monitoring. Having Zack Lockhart to whom to throw the football, as hot as he is right now, may just give Pikeville the edge it needs.

Congratulations to Zack Lockhart, Class of 2022, from Pikeville High School in Pikeville, Kentucky for being selected the Mingua Beef Jerky Company’s Protein-packed Performer of the Week. Join us next week as the Mingua Beef Jerky Company recognizes another, one of a kind performer.

Until then, pop some Mingua Beef Jerky in your mouth and savor the quality and flavor which sets it apart from all the competition. Remember, our product is superior and one of a kind, just like Pikeville’s Zack Lockhart.
