Saturday Night’s Weekly Winners…
We picked our Friday night “Winners” two days ago. We promised we would come back as the weekend drew nigher and pick the Saturday “Winners” too. Now we have done just that. Let the debate rage.

Someone contacted old Coach Lyon and asked when we were going to put out our preseason top-10 football polls for each classification. Well, today seemed like as good a day as any to continue the tradition. Since KPGFootball started with the top classification when picking district winners, this time we started with Class 1A and yesterday we projected Class 4A. Today we give you our projections for the next classification up from the lowest one, here is Class 5A and we will complete the series tomorrow with Class 6A!
We posed the title as an inquiry because the opinion of the reader is important to KPGFootball. We know what we think; however, we are the ones writing the articles. If we didn’t agree with the article’s central premise, I suppose we wouldn’t write it. The prowess of the Spartan […]
This will probably be the easiest article this publication has ever undertaken. At the season’s mid-point, and with a reference to the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, we at Kentucky Prep Gridiron would like to look at two teams we think are hot, two we think are cold, and two we think are just about right. Here we go… Too Hot… The […]
Today at the Stadium of Champions beginning at 3:00 p.m., in what has been forecast to be perfect weather, the game originally contracted to be played last night will get underway. It is a pivotal game for each team going forward though it has zero play-off implications for either. […]
Football season opens around the area August 18, 2017, which is tomorrow night, and we at Kentucky Prep Gridiron couldn’t be happier or more excited. There are some huge games as three area teams on whom we choose to focus in this article are well-matched and high regarded squads all […]
Jacob Lacey is a two-sport athlete from Bowling Green, Kentucky and guess what? He’s really good at both sports. In fact, it has been reported he would love to play either pro football or baseball. I don’t know much about his ability on the Diamond as I don’t cover that […]
