I was talking to a friend of mine who is as involved in football, particularly recruiting, as much as I. We both agree this recruiting cycle has been unlike any we have before seen. Some programs generally left to forage for table scraps are getting to feast on the Crème de la Crème of the talent. Good for them. Enjoy this article. HB Lyon.

There are some schools around Kentucky absolutely feasting on in-state football talent in filling out the programs’ football rosters. We couldn’t be happier about it. Some real ‘prime-timers’ are finding considerable value in pursuing options other than waiting around and hoping there is room left for them at the heel of some bigger school’s football program during these uncertain, unchartered times. Because of this, some D-1 skill sets are finding their way into the student bodies of some prestigious academic institutions and on the rosters of some prestigious football programs. In-state college football play will absolutely benefit. Many area schools are already nationally ranked at their levels of play. These kids stand the chance to really benefit too. Enjoy this article. Several top-flight ’21s are coming off the board quickly, unwilling to “wait and see” if there is room for them at the inn as things go along, some of these guys are using more than their athletic prowess to find the “other ways there are to skin cats.” Enjoy this article as we have linked highlights for all three players featured in this article. Every year it happens. Every year kids come up from middle school football and get plugged-in to some varsity two-deep or, sometimes, even the starting line-up. People always profess amazement and assume the program must be struggling or else whey would a freshman be playing? The answer isn’t the program is struggling. The […]

If I hadn’t of seen the video for myself, I would have never believed it. When I first examined Tyler Morris‘ Hudl page, before watching his highlights, I thought it has to be a misprint. How can a Team Kentucky linebacker, a guy fast enough to be listed at FB for his offensive […]

If there is a higher honor in middle school football, we must confess that KPGFootball doesn’t know what it would be. The following players will have the privilege of donning the Blue and White and representing Team Kentucky in the Tennessee-Kentucky Future Stars Classic this summer at Georgetown College (Players […]
