There are some schools around Kentucky absolutely feasting on in-state football talent in filling out the programs’ football rosters. We couldn’t be happier about it. Some real ‘prime-timers’ are finding considerable value in pursuing options other than waiting around and hoping there is room left for them at the heel of some bigger school’s football program during these uncertain, unchartered times. Because of this, some D-1 skill sets are finding their way into the student bodies of some prestigious academic institutions and on the rosters of some prestigious football programs.
