’27 interior OL looks to be among the best his class has to offer
Harrison McGraw is a 6’1,” 295-pound stud who is almost as adept at Lacrosse as he is at football. McGraw has been courted by some of the Divison I service academies and Centre College any of which would well suit both his athletic aspirations and his 3.95 GPA. McGraw is a three year starter for the Mustangs, a twice adorned all-district performer, a Team Captain and on our preseason “watch list” for the Large School, Big Ass Fans, All-State Football team. Goshen, KY: A popular adage praises people whose selfless actions are designed to benefit future generations. There exist two versions of the adage.
Version One: Those who plant trees, knowing that only others will enjoy the shade, are public benefactors.
Version Two: Blessed are old people who plant trees knowing that they shall never sit in the shade of their foliage.
The earliest reference we could find to either of these adages appeared in a sermon by French theologian Hyacinthe Loyson delivered in Paris in 1866. His sermon contained the following:
Ces arbres qu’il plante et à l’ombre desquels il ne s’assoira pas, il les aime pour eux-mêmes et pour ses enfants, et pour les enfants de ses enfants, sur qui s’étendront leurs rameaux. This roughly translates into These trees which he plants, and under whose shade he shall never sit, he loves them for themselves, and for the sake of his children and his children’s children, who are to sit beneath the shadow of their spreading boughs.
It is a beautiful thought. It is a thought well known to offensive linemen.
You see, more so than any other position on the gridiron, offensive linemen exist solely to lighten the burden and assist the other players in their grasp for glory. At the end of the day, the greatest thing which may be said about an offensive lineman’s play is I forgot he was even out there. They almost never warrant mention; util they err.

North Oldham’s Harrison McGraw knows all about it. While McGraw may not be properly appreciated by the casual Mustang fan, we at KPGFootball ain’t exactly your average bears, if you catch our drift (wink).
McGraw, a three-year starter, twice all district performer, and team captain finds himself squarely on the watch list for our 2026 Big Ass Fans, Large School, All-State Football Team. We notice what the big boys do. They are much more than mere place-holders to our selectors.
McGraw is a ’27 kid who sports a 3.95 GPA. McGraw is being courted heavily by the service academies, Morehead, and even prestigious small-college programs like our own Centre College.
McGraw plays both guard and center upfront offensively. McGraw is 6’1,” 295-pounds of strength (325-pound bench press), explosion (445-pound BS and 235-pound HC), and power (445-pound BS and 235-pound HC).
With McGraw and crew upfront, Coach Brock Roberts’ gang has turned in a 10-3 district championship in 2025 losing the regional championship to 4A state finalist Franklin County. Last year the Mustangs scored 561-points in 13-games, allowed 247, all while rushing for 1,810-yards and 31-TDs. The multi-faceted offensive team also passed for 2,882-yards and 44-TDs against only five (5) picks.
Colin Daniels, last year’s senior QB, completed nearly 66% of his passes with a TD to INT ratio of nearly 9:1 (44:5). Where your line-mates and you provide enough time to permit this level of efficiency and production; someone, somewhere is getting blocked by somebody.
How good of an athlete is McGraw? He plays lacrosse in addition to football. Ever heard of Jim Brown? Look him up!
While you’re researching different things it might be wise for you fans, heading into the ’26 season, to keep an eye on Goshen, Kentucky and that North Oldham program. You might keep an eye on the middle of that offensive front too, while you’re at it.
There will plenty of college recruiting coordinators similarly captivated. There will be some guys up front there hoeing ground and planting something or another.
What will be getting planted? It will either be butts or seeds. It may well end up being both.
