We wrote an article about this prospect before his freshman year in high school. Much like predicted, he is rounding into the high school star we thought he would be back then. High School football teams have guys like this IF THEY ARE ANY GOOD. This kid will kill it in 2020 after leading his team in rushing over his sophomore season.

These players break through and get ranked on a major service’s site and then everyone wants to forget the first publication which told its subscribers all of this was going to happen. When I was coaching ball I used to say all the time having a potent placekicker on the roster was like finding a $20 bill in the pocket of a pair of pants you just got dry cleaned. It is really a luxury and can win you a championship, believe me. This is a very solid pickup for Class 5A Southwestern High School in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Alex was an all-District performer a year ago and was one of the Eagles most reliable down-field receiving targets and one of its more capable coverage corners. He is a former “Team Kentuckian” so we know he possesses the ability to play the game at a very high level. He will need that ability because Southwestern has some “folks” to play in that very tough classification of competition. Enjoy the article. HB.
Sometimes we forget that not every kid comes in and slides straight into the Friday night lineup as a freshman. This is especially true at the 5A level of football in Kentucky. However, by year’s end we saw more and more of JT Adams patrolling the Colonel defense’s second level. We saw this kid at the Bret Cooper game a couple of years ago. The East Coaching staff couldn’t stop talking about him. How good is this kid? Well, he played in 8-games as a freshman at 5A Owensboro Senior! That should tell you something. HB.
