We couldn’t get a tougher draw in the first round than a Hart County squad which has proven itself an elite team, winning 23 of 24-football games, over the past two seasons. Chad Griffin is among the hottest coaches in Kentucky and on everyone’s hot board for every job which comes open. We think the Storm will acquit itself on Friday night in Munfordville better than most expect. In the end, the Storm should be loose. No one outside the team’s locker room will be picking them.

Kade Goodin is a ’27 guy we have been following for years. You may wonder how that is even possible? If we just covered HS, it probably wouldn’t be but we get on these guys in middle school and often follow them to college. This guy is a future Saturday player at a minimum. He has plus size, length, and athleticism. He is a two sport varsity athlete, also playing point guard in basketball, which is the QB of a basketball team. He is a QB for Collins but is projected to play WR at the next level. Enjoy the feature and let’s keep it cool out there Kentucky.

Central finds itself exactly where it was a year ago. However, this time just feels differently. The Storm pushed McLean to overtime before bowing out gracefully, 48-46, and Fort Campbell’s beating North has taught us all a little something about never quitting before the combatants even take the field.
