This kid here was forced into action as a freshman. He performed admirably and now has his team looking to vastly improve on its finish (4-7) from the 2019 season as 2020 rolls around. Enjoy this article about Samuel Davis, who is a rising sophomore QB at Frankfort High School and go see our friends down at the fastest growing bank in the commonwealth, Independence Bank. Let’s check in with @rudy_blackwell from @BelfryFootball1…

We thought we would check in on a kid which Belfry (lucky them) seems to grow on trees over there. Rudy Blackwell, Jr. made our Freshman All-State Football team in 2019 and considering how he played and the numbers he put up it really wasn’t a close call. Heading into his sophomore year, if he continues to develop physically, grow a little thicker to go with his growing taller, there is really no limit to how good he can be. Could he be another Grayson Cook? Hard to say, but one has to note the physical similarities. Enjoy the article. HB.

Class of 2022 QB, Kanyon Franklin, from @CchsTouchdown (Calloway County HS) is the @1776Bank, Revolutionary Player of the Week

When the Lakers were on in 2019, like on the road at Hoptown, November 8, 2019, for round-one, they were really competitive and looked to have the trappings of a fine ball club. Unfortunately, when thy were “off” man were they “off,” like the first game with Hopkinsville back in September. Still, the young ball club is well coached and has capable talent on which to build like this week’s Revolutionary Player of the Week. Enjoy the article and get on by and see our friends at Independence Bank today.

The Bell County Bobcats have certainly lost a marquee player in London Stephney. Stephney, headed to the Naval Academy to play football, matriculated to the school from his Knoxville, Tennessee home some 3-4 years ago. He graduated last term. However any team with Dudley Hilton at the helm will always have a chance and Bell County just may be returning more than one realizes. Enjoy this preseason breakdown of a team we expect to be heard from in 3A before a Champion is crowned this coming season. HB.
