If you have been reading our weekly “Outstanding Performances…” articles, the series of articles should have impressed upon you how very difficult winning this award really is. We’ve learned a few things over the years from kids, or even grown men, named “Canady.” We have learned to expect a champion’s effort, performance, grit, and toughness. That is why it is no surprise Hayden Canady, like the Canady’s who have come along before, is a champion in multiple sports. Expect big things from this young ’24 prospect. HB.

There seems to be a movement among some of Kentucky’s definitive players at their respective positions to spurn offers from “larger” programs to attend schools like Centre College. Many people have expressed surprise with the in-roads Centre’s football program has made with top-notch ’21 Kentucky prospects. However, should anyone really be surprised? We don’t think so!
