If you have been reading our weekly “Outstanding Performances…” articles, the series of articles should have impressed upon you how very difficult winning this award really is. We had another spectacular week where there were numerous performances any one of which would have been a fine performance to single-out. There are weeks where picking just one seems impossible. We are privileged to get to participate in this weekly poll and we take our participation very seriously. This week we decided to post the poll as it comes to us without any effort to reformat it. We don’t know what all the little “t’s” are about but what the heck, let’s throw it up and see how it comes out the other end. We have picked four games for you which we have done some checking with the respective coaches and believe are being played tonight. We are 55-12 on the year and wanted to pick 5-games to attempt to get our win-record to a cool 60 but, in this day and time, you take what you can get. This week’s “Revolutionary Players of the Week” are The Babin Twins who need no introduction to high school football fans either in the Derby City (Louisville) or really anywhere in the commonwealth. Both of these guys are Class of 2021 and both are being heavily pursued by college programs seeking one or both of their considerable services. His name is Luke Garrison and he has helped lead Hancock County to a 5-0 start, a birth, this week, in the AP top-ten poll, and even a number one vote from one of the AP’s media members.
