@collin_darnell4 from @LakerRchs is the @Minguabeefjerky “Protein-packed Performer of the Week.” @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @1776Bank @UofLFootball

Ronnie Mingua began experimenting with making beef jerky back in the 1990s. He shared his efforts with neighbors and friends, soon realizing he had come up with something different and superior to all other beef jerkies on the market. From these humble beginnings, Mingua Beef Jerky got its start.

Today, the Mingua Beef Jerky Company still prides itself on using its old-fashioned, all-natural recipes which offer outstanding products to customers across the nation. The recipes are a family tradition, passed down from generation to generation.

Migua Beef Jerky uses Enviro-Pac CHU-2000 equipment to cook its meat to USDA required levels for both moist or dry operation. Mingua Beef Jerky wants you to become one of its many satisfied customers by sampling its quality hand sliced, all natural beef jerky. We know you’ll love it and come back for more, again and again.

Our recipes and our quality ingredients, hand-cut from solid pieces of beef and never chopped or formed like other brands, make our products superior and one of a kind. That would make our products similar to this week’s Protein Packed Performer of the WeekCollin Darnell, from Russell County High School, wouldn’t it?

Collin Darnell (2021) from Russell County had a huge night against Perry County Central in his team’s 35-14 victory. Darnell carried it 25-times for 215-yards and scored 3 rushing TDs.

Collin Darnell

Together the D & B Boys, gained 374-yards in 48-carries and scored a whopping 5-rushing TDs from scrimmage, accounting for every single point on the evening not scored by the place-kicker, who was 5-5. By the way, outstanding job freshman place-kicker, Yarley Madrano (2024)! You and Dylan make sure Collin shares some of his jerky with you.

Teammate Dylan Bland (2021) also came up huge for the Lakers with his 23-carries for 159-yards and 2-rushing TDs. Add up the pair’s production and it kind of makes one dizzy.

On the year, Darnell has his team sitting undefeated at 6-0 and likely headed into the playoffs with an unblemished regular season mark as it is doubtful the November 6th game at Taylor County gets played. So far this season, Darnell has carried the football 102-times in 6-games and gained 745-yards with 8-rushing TDs.

Collin leads the Lakers, this season, in yards gained from scrimmage, carries, and average yards per contest. He is his team’s second leading scorer, having scored 60-points in his team’s six games. Collin Darnell is a 6-0, 165-pounds, running-back/safety prospect whose prodigious athleticism and “Ivy-league Index brain put him in play for a wide variety of college programs going forward. Mr. Darnell sports a 3.75 GPA.

Congratulations to Collin Darnell, Class of 2021, from Russell County High School in Russell Springs, Kentucky for being selected the Mingua Beef Jerky Company’Protein-packed Performer of the Week. Join us next week as the Mingua Beef Jerky Company recognizes another one of a kind performer and performance similar in grandeur to the one we recognized today.

Until then, pop some Mingua Beef Jerky in your mouth and savor the quality and flavor which sets it apart from all the competition. Remember, our product is superior and one of a kind, just like Collin Darnell.
