These guys come up from the middle school ranks being talked about as “plug-in and play” guys. That is what Hall has been. He may be one of those again in college, we shall see. The words, “the best…” can get thrown around and excessively used. No outfit is anymore aware of this than we. In the end, it amounts to a bunch of hyperbole and little more most times. Breathitt middle school is for real and really in the title hunt!

Breathitt Middle has beaten Meece (14-8) and Johnson County (20-8) in successive game and are entering the KYMSFA playoff seeded second in its region (behind a team it has already beaten) and undefeated. They boast two of the best players in the Class of 2025 in top-dog, Kory Combs, and big man, Sawyer Hall. Look out KYMSFA-title, the ‘Cats are coming for you!
